Programs and Events

Enrichment and educational opportunities through ZeroZero include camps, clinics, events, counseling and professional development.

Rally Sports Camp

Rally Sports Camp is a week-long event that caters to comfortably introducing children to the structure, values, and social engagement opportunities against the backdrop of something they already understand  — “play”.

We hope to create an experience of competition through a lens that isn’t focused directly on winning and losing but on the passion for playing the game.  We believe that a child will never be passionate about a career path in sports if they aren’t first intrigued by the concept of “play” in sports.

Rally Sports Camp is open to the public and is attended by over 300 campers from the Birmingham area. ZeroZero students attend on scholarship and the funds raised from registration serve as the foundation's biggest annual fundraiser. All proceeds from the camp directly support the programming of the ZeroZero Foundation.

Rally Sport Clinics

Rally Sport, a monthly sports clinic, focuses on teaching students a potentially unfamiliar sport that could pique their interest. Rally Sport Clinics serve as an opportunity for kids to expand their experience in a particular sport in greater detail than the Rally Sports Camp experience.By increasing access to sports, including a variety of “non-traditional” sports, we’re able to broaden a child’s horizon, help find something they are passionate about and increase representation in sports that are traditionally inaccessible to lower income households.

ZeroZero Experiences

Our ZeroZero Experiences give our children the opportunity to learn about careers in the sports industry, directly from  current professionals. These individuals provide our ZeroZero students with a front row view to life working in and around the game, ultimately broadening their horizons and helping them to identify dream jobs.

We have been fortunate to partner with organizations like: Memphis Grizzlies (NBA), Birmingham Squadron (NBA G-League), UAB Basketball, UAB Football, Birmingham Bulls (SPHL), Nashville Predators (NHL) and the Birmingham Barons (MiLB). Each experience is tailored to the organization and partnered enrichment opportunities for the students.

PAT Check Ins

Passions, Aptitudes and Talents (PAT) surveys are critical in helping a child to identify a fulfilling career that they can both excel at and be interested in. ZeroZero hosts a monthly PAT breakfast for participating families to help identify these traits in each child. These meetings serve as an opportunity for our team to connect with the parents and dive deeper into discovering their child’s true gifts. Each student will be paired up with a team member or volunteer to navigate the questionnaire.
